Ethan Makes 3D Scanner offers you the ability to easily scan objects in 3D using the front-facing TrueDepth 3D camera sensor on your device. This feature is available on devices with Face ID, which includes a TrueDepth camera.

To enhance the scanning experience, Ethan Makes provides two useful features: Mirror Saver and EM3D: Mirror Saver app.

• Mirror Saver allows you to view the screen on another device, making it more convenient to scan objects in front of you.
• If you don't have a second device, you can download a 3D printable mirror adapter using the link provided in the app. This adapter changes the direction of the front-facing camera by 90 degrees. For those without access to a 3D printer, there is an option to purchase a pre-made mirror adapter.

For added convenience, use the Toggle Mesh feature from the Action menu to preview the mesh before purchasing an export option. This helps ensure that you are satisfied with the end result of your scans.
